The Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) has expressed its strong stance against the alleged sabotage attempts by opposition groups trying to disrupt the upcoming elections. The move comes after a series of violent incidents in recent days, which have raised concerns about the security situation in the region.

According to sources close to the government, the AJK administration is taking all necessary measures to ensure the integrity and stability of the electoral process. Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar has assured that the federal government stands with the AJK government to protect its democratic institutions from external interference.

The minister’s statement comes after a series of violent incidents in recent days, including clashes between opposition groups and security personnel in various parts of the region. The AJK administration has also taken steps to strengthen its security apparatus, deploying additional troops and military personnel to key areas.

Talal Chaudhry, State Minister for Interior, has also pledged federal support to protect the electoral process. He stated that the state government is committed to ensuring a peaceful and secure environment for the upcoming elections.

The AJK administration has also taken steps to strengthen its security apparatus, deploying additional troops and military personnel to key areas. The region remains on high alert, with multiple checkpoints set up along the border to prevent any potential disruptions.

In light of these developments, opposition groups have been urging their supporters not to participate in the elections due to concerns about the security situation. However, officials from both sides are urging calm and caution, emphasizing that the electoral process will be conducted as scheduled.

The AJK administration has also taken steps to ensure the safety and well-being of its citizens, deploying additional personnel to key areas and providing them with necessary support. The region remains under close surveillance, with multiple military units deployed along the border to prevent any potential disruptions.

As the election season approaches, tensions in the region remain high. However, officials from both sides are urging calm and caution, emphasizing that the electoral process will be conducted as scheduled.
