**Donald Trump and World Leaders Attend Lindsey Graham’s Funeral**

In a somber ceremony, hundreds of mourners gathered at the Washington National Cathedral to pay their respects to Senator Lindsey Graham, a key ally of President Donald Trump. The late South Carolina senator died on July 11 after a long battle with cancer.

Graham was elected to the US Senate in 2002 and re-elected twice in 2008, 2014, and 2020. He served as chairman of the Senate Budget Committee and also held various positions within the Trump administration, including member of the Senate Committee on Appropriations and Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Graham’s support for military action against Iran was a notable aspect of his foreign policy views. In February, he told filmmakers that “almost cried” after US and Israel began strikes on Iran in response to Iranian aggression. This stance has been consistent with Trump’s own position on the issue.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and several other world leaders attended Graham’s funeral service on Tuesday afternoon at the Washington National Cathedral. The ceremony was a rare display of unity among global leaders in mourning their loss to this influential figure.

Trump delivered remarks during the service, praising Graham as “a force in the world” and US politics. He described him as “beloved friend” who had been instrumental in shaping American policy for over three decades. Trump also acknowledged that without Graham’s input on significant issues, nothing of consequence would have happened.

In a statement, Trump said: “For more than 30 years, nothing of consequence happened in this capital without Lindsey Graham knowing about it. Nothing of significance happened anywhere in the world without Lindsey Graham having a view on it.” He added that he had always considered himself fortunate to have known and worked with such an influential figure.

Graham’s death marks the loss of a close ally and friend, who will be deeply missed by his colleagues and constituents alike. His legacy as a champion of American interests abroad continues to shape global politics, and his memory will be remembered for years to come.
