Punjab Government Shuffles Senior Bureaucrats Amidst Federal Transfer
The Punjab government has undergone a significant restructuring of its senior bureaucrats following the federal government’s transfer of several high-ranking officials. The move comes as part of an effort to realign and reorganize the state’s administrative machinery.
According to sources, Ahmad Raza Sarwar, who was previously serving as Additional Chief Secretary in the Punjab government, has been transferred to the role of Interior and Narcotics Control Division Secretary. In another significant move, Iftikhar Ali Sahoo has been transferred from the post of Punjab Additional Chief Secretary to that of Flt Lt (Air Force) as the new Secretary for Defence Production.
