Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari welcomed the willingness of the Joint Administration and Coordination Committee (JAAC) to engage in discussions regarding a proposed commission under the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), as outlined by the party.

The JAAC has been working towards establishing an institutional framework for addressing issues related to Azad Jammu and Kashmir, which is currently facing significant challenges. The proposed commission aims to provide a comprehensive approach to resolving these concerns, including economic development, infrastructure improvement, and social welfare initiatives.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed his support for the JAAC’s efforts in engaging with various stakeholders, including the PPP, to find solutions that benefit the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized the importance of institutionalizing a commission to ensure that its recommendations are implemented effectively and efficiently.

The Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party stated that he is committed to working closely with the JAAC to address the pressing issues in AJK. He also highlighted the need for international support, particularly from the United Nations, to help alleviate the suffering of the people living in the region.
