The Pakistan cricket players are set to join foreign leagues following the Caribbean Premier League and County Championship. The PCB granted 12 players NOCs, allowing them to join the CPL and County Championship.
The cricket board issued no-objection certificates to 12 national cricketers, following left-arm spinner Nouman Ali, who is set to feature for Lancashire. He has a valid NOC until September 27, featuring in the final six games of the County Championship. With his availability, he will also feature for the club’s red-ball celebration game at Old Trafford.
Furthermore, the players who got NOCs are Sufiyan Muqeem, Sahibzada Farhan, Naseem Shah, Hunain Shah, Hasan Nawaz, Usman Khan, Maaz Sadaqat, Mohammad Haris, Usman Tariq and Usama Mir. Most of the players got NOCs for the CPL 2026 edition, which will be kicking off from Friday.
Among the players who got permission to feature in the CPL, the NOC validation period from August 19 to September 21 includes the names of Shadab, Muqeem, Farhan, Naseem, Hunain, Hasan, Usman and Maaz.
The news was broken by Geo Sports when they revealed the names of the 12 players who got NOCs. Before that, on August 6, it was confirmed by Lancashire that Nouman Ali is going to feature in the County Championship. Other players are allowed to travel for foreign leagues as the National Champions Cup ends, where they were committed from August 11 to August 18.
Meanwhile, the players not part of the National Champions Cup will be allowed to move, including wicketkeeper-batter Muhammad Haris, who got an NOC from August 7 to September 20. Meanwhile, Usman Tariq got an NOC from August 8 to August 18. Additionally, the leg-spinner Usama Mir is eligible to take part from August 7 to September 21.
