Indian Student Speaks Out Against ‘Pakistani Agent’ Label Amid Protests

A recent wave of protests across India has sparked concerns about the role of external factors in fueling dissent and silencing opposition. The protests, which began after thousands of students were informed that they had been cheated out of marks on a crucial examination paper, have turned violent, with reports of clashes between protesters and security forces.

The protests are believed to be linked to allegations of corruption within the Indian government, particularly in the Education Ministry. According to sources close to the investigation, several high-ranking officials, including the Minister for Human Resource Development (HRD), Dharmendra Pradhan, have been implicated in the scandal.

One student who participated in a 23-day-long protest against the alleged corruption has come forward with claims that he was subjected to intimidation and harassment by government agents. The student, who wishes to remain anonymous, alleges that “Pakistani agent” labels were used to silence dissenting voices during the protests.

“It’s not just about the marks on the paper,” the student said in an interview with Geo News. “It’s about the entire system being rigged against us. We’re being told that we cheated and then suddenly, ‘Oh no, you didn’t! You must have been a Pakistani agent!’ It’s absurd.”

The allegations of corruption within the Education Ministry are not new, but they have gained renewed attention in recent weeks as protests spread across India.

According to reports, thousands of students were informed on July 24 that their marks had been altered. The news sparked widespread outrage and protests, with many demanding action against those responsible for the scandal.

The government has since launched an investigation into the allegations, but so far, no arrests have been made. However, the protests continue, with demonstrators calling for greater transparency and accountability within the education system.

As the situation continues to unfold, it remains to be seen how long the protests will last and what impact they may have on India’s politics.
